COVID-19 RESPONSE

The great question on many people’s minds right now when visiting a business or church is simply, “What are you doing as an organization to keep me safe?” As the Governor has given churches permission to meet together in person again during Phase 1 of his phased reopening plan for the State of Montana, we felt like we needed to make a plan to help you feel confident that we are taking necessary precautions, while at the same time quenching fear to make attending church a peaceful and enjoyable experience without being constantly reminded of the fear surrounding us in our world today. So we are taking the following precautions:

  • Per the Governors mandate of groups of 10 or larger, we are setting the chairs in the worship center at an appropriate physical distancing spacing between groups and individuals to abide by “strict physical distancing” procedures.

  • We have Hand Sanitizer available for your use upon entry at the LINK Desk inside the front doors as well as soap in the restrooms for hand washing.

  • We will be regularly cleaning the facilities, specifically sanitizing surfaces of which people frequently come into contact.

  • COFFEE - we will continue to serve coffee on an individual cup basis with condiments served individually to limit exposure to commonly touched surfaces.

  • CHILDREN - we will have children wash their hands upon arrival; we have taken all cloth toys out of the playroom, leaving only 1/2 of the plastic toys so that we can sanitize all toys immediately upon the children’s departure. Also, we are limiting the number of children in each room to 10 as children are not capable of abiding by strict physical distancing.

**We would ask that you act and attend according to your conscience and common sense. If you do not feel comfortable attending our in person service, we will also be offering an online service at 11a at http://theshiftchurch.online.church and will post our service here on our website and on Social Media Monday morning.

REMINDER…Please DO NOT Attend our Public Services if you:

  • …are feeling sick

  • …have had a fever within a week (even a low grade fever)

  • …have a cough

  • …have shortness of breath
