Job Description/Expectations:
This person will be our worker who will oversee the Infants/Toddlers (ages 0-4) downstairs in our children's ministry area, before, during, and for up to 30 min after our Sunday morning gatherings, freeing our parents up to participate in worship upstairs, and giving our current volunteers the ability to participate in worship and hear and be inspired by our new vision and strategic plan, so that when we return to a volunteer system, they will be focused and inspired for why they're volunteering in children's ministry. This person will be expected to join with us at 8:30a for prayer with all of our workers and volunteers on Sunday mornings before we each go to our area of serving. We have a children's curriculum we expect the Infant/Toddlers worker to teach, including - but not limited to - activities, crafts, and/or handouts involved in the curriculum. You will be able to take the curriculum home with them to study and prepare for the lesson that next Sunday. We have pre-packaged snacks available for children. It is the worker's prerogative to serve these snacks, but also the responsibility of the worker to notice and know of any allergies each child has before serving snacks (as per allergy information on the child's name tag). At the end of each service, we expect toys and supplies are put away and organized in preparation for the next week.

Security:
Each child will be given a sticker to wear with their name, family ID, and any allergies or special needs that child may have. For parents to pick up their child, they must present the corresponding ticket with matching information.

I hereby authorize SHIFT church and its designated agents and representatives to conduct a comprehensive review of my background causing a consumer report and/or an investigative consumer report to be generated for employment and/or volunteer purposes. I understand the scope of the consumer report/investigative consumer report may include, but is not limited to the following areas: verification of social security number; credit reports; current and previous residences; employment history, education background, character references; drug testing, civil and criminal history records from any criminal justice agency in any of all federal, state, county jurisdictions; driving records, birth records, and any other public records.
