SCRIPTURE: Exodus 20:8-11

One of the 10 Commandments was to remember the sabbath and keep it holy. It is has the longest description of any of the commandments. God was inviting His people into His rest, His peace, His health, His presence. The Church is invited into God’s rest, into the observation and devotion to “Sabbath”, to take a weekly day off from work and the world. We sabbath to rest in God, enjoy one another, and live a healthy life.
