SCRIPTURE: Exodus 16:12-21; Numbers 11:4-9; Joshua 5:10-12; Deuteronomy 8:2-3

Each season we all have a purpose for fasting. In this season of fasting and this Sunday morning, we are pursuing Fasting FOR Surrender. Surrender is emptying ourselves of distractions, corruptions, so that we can learn to focus on, trust, and be fully surrendered to God. The Israelites learned this same lesson when they were in the wilderness following God. God was teaching them to trust in, and be fully surrendered to, God.
