Oct 16 | Sukkot I
DATE: October 16, 2022
THEME: Sukkot I
SCRIPTURE: Leviticus 23:33-43
The festival of Sukkot (tabernacles/booths/temporary shelters) is a festival that reminds God's people of when the Israelites wandered in the wilderness during those 40 years, and how they lived in "sukkot" (booths). They are commanded to build a "sukkah" (the singular of the plural "sukkot"). The Feast of Sukkot remembers that God provides provision, protection, and presence for those who love Him, so we can gather & celebrate TOGETHER with great joy!
