DATE: October 9, 2022
THEME: Yom Kippur
SCRIPTURE: Leviticus 16; Hebrews 10:1-25
Yom Kippur, the "Day of Atonement," is the highest holy day of the Jewish people. For those of us Saints in the Kingdom of God, we can - and should - celebrate Yom Kippur as a time of reflection, sober-mindedness, and peace through faith. During this sermon, we take a deeper look at the holiday of Yom Kippur, in order to see and experience the joy of Christ Jesus our atonement and the hope of atonement for the world.
