Oct 2 | Yom Teruah

DATE: October 2, 2022
THEME: Yom Teruah
SCRIPTURE: Leviticus 23:23-25

As we begin a short series through the Fall Feasts, we begin with “Yom Teruah,” or Rosh Hashanah,” celebrating the New Year with “shouts or blasts” from trumpets, most of which are shofars (rams horns). The celebration is so rich in meaning and context. From being a day of remembrance, to celebrating the day of creation, to rejoicing the sweetness of the New Year filled with new opportunities for new life, the richness is often missed. Come celebrate the goodness of God and the new life He brings.

*Due to streaming issues, we do not have video of this sermon, only audio.
